BankMuscat AMD offers a wide range of products. Among them are alternative investments which include Capital Guaranteed products, Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, and Structured Notes.


AMD has structured a variety of products that offer investors exposure to the different markets and regions, while keeping their initial capital secured. The division has been actively providing similar products since 1996 when it launched its first Muscat International Guaranteed Fund I, which offered investors an exposure to global equities market with capital protection.


BankMuscat AMD structured two closed ended hedge funds with capital protection at maturity. The Muscat IP 220 was launched in 1999 and returned in excess of 80% while the second investment, Muscat IP 320, was launched in 2003. The Note was launched in 2005 in collaboration with Goldman Sachs and Ashmore and it invests in emerging market debt and at the same time provides capital protection.
